Start with the project requirements.
For storefronts, plazas and commercial facilities, show deliveries, customer routes and the areas that must remain open. Define whether work is a shutdown, a weekend phase or a series of separate work areas before requesting pricing.
Include these items in your request
- Operating hours and phasing
- Loading and debris routes
- Public access requirements
- Final surface and reopening criteria
Compare the whole scope.
Ask for clear inclusions and exclusions. Cutting, breakout, loading, trucking, disposal, excavation, base work and new concrete are different tasks. Engineering, investigations, utility work and specialty methods must be assigned rather than assumed.
Keep access and the schedule connected.
Show how people and materials move through the property. A site plan or a simple marked photograph can help explain the work zone, protected routes, staging and the transition to the next trade. Tell us which deadlines are firm and which depend on approvals.
Include required qualifications, site rules, testing, insurance requirements and any specified equipment with the project package. We will review the scope and confirm the proposed methods before acceptance.
