Start with the project requirements.
Institutional concrete requests need access, occupancy and shutdown requirements identified early. Send the scope with any bidder qualifications, security arrangements and protection standards; inclusion of this market does not claim existing institutional contracts or certifications.
Include these items in your request
- Current drawings and project qualifications
- Occupancy and access controls
- Work window and noise restrictions
- Protection, inspection and closeout requirements
Compare the whole scope.
Ask for clear inclusions and exclusions. Cutting, breakout, loading, trucking, disposal, excavation, base work and new concrete are different tasks. Engineering, investigations, utility work and specialty methods must be assigned rather than assumed.
Keep access and the schedule connected.
Show how people and materials move through the property. A site plan or a simple marked photograph can help explain the work zone, protected routes, staging and the transition to the next trade. Tell us which deadlines are firm and which depend on approvals.
Include required qualifications, site rules, testing, insurance requirements and any specified equipment with the project package. We will review the scope and confirm the proposed methods before acceptance.
