Start with the project requirements.
Industrial requests can involve equipment foundations, slabs, trenches and selective removal. The quote review needs equipment loads, shutdown windows and the boundaries between construction and plant operations. Specialty environments and methods require separate acceptance.
Include these items in your request
- Equipment and structural drawings
- Plant shutdown and access requirements
- Utility isolation responsibilities
- Loads and return-to-use requirements
Compare the whole scope.
Ask for clear inclusions and exclusions. Cutting, breakout, loading, trucking, disposal, excavation, base work and new concrete are different tasks. Engineering, investigations, utility work and specialty methods must be assigned rather than assumed.
Keep access and the schedule connected.
Show how people and materials move through the property. A site plan or a simple marked photograph can help explain the work zone, protected routes, staging and the transition to the next trade. Tell us which deadlines are firm and which depend on approvals.
Include required qualifications, site rules, testing, insurance requirements and any specified equipment with the project package. We will review the scope and confirm the proposed methods before acceptance.
