Start with the project requirements.
For a driveway, patio, garage slab or foundation request, begin with clear photos, approximate dimensions and your intended result. Ask for removal, disposal, base preparation and new concrete to be identified separately so proposals can be compared fairly.
Include these items in your request
- Photos and approximate measurements
- Gate width and overhead clearance
- Existing surface and drainage concerns
- Desired finish and timing
Compare the whole scope.
Ask for clear inclusions and exclusions. Cutting, breakout, loading, trucking, disposal, excavation, base work and new concrete are different tasks. Engineering, investigations, utility work and specialty methods must be assigned rather than assumed.
Keep access and the schedule connected.
Show how people and materials move through the property. A site plan or a simple marked photograph can help explain the work zone, protected routes, staging and the transition to the next trade. Tell us which deadlines are firm and which depend on approvals.
Include required qualifications, site rules, testing, insurance requirements and any specified equipment with the project package. We will review the scope and confirm the proposed methods before acceptance.
