Sidewalk, Curb & Walkway Removal

Defined sections. Protected access.

Start with a clearly defined scope.

Sidewalk and curb removal requests should identify the panels or runs to be removed and how pedestrians will move around the work. We review concrete removal, haul-out and the transition to replacement separately, including privately owned walks and approved public-facing scopes.

Typical project requests

  • Sidewalk panel removal
  • Curb and gutter breakout
  • Walkway and step removal
  • Loading and off-site disposal

What to send for an estimate

The more accurately the request describes the site, the more useful the scope review can be. Mark uncertain dimensions or conditions as unknown rather than treating them as confirmed.

  • Panel count and dimensions
  • Curb length and profile
  • Pedestrian access plan
  • Tree, utility and adjoining pavement conflicts

A planning detail that matters

The damaged surface may not be the only issue. Mark visible root displacement, drainage problems or settlement so the replacement plan can address the cause rather than only the concrete above it.

Make the handoff clear.

Tell us who controls the property, which adjacent areas remain in use and who handles the work before and after this scope. Removal, disposal, replacement, permits, engineering and specialty services should be identified separately in the written proposal.

Before you request pricing

Can I send photos before a site visit?

Yes. Email wide site views, close material views and the access route. Include the project address and any plans. Photos help with initial review but do not replace any site investigation needed for a final proposal.

Can this be combined with other concrete work?

Send the complete desired result. Related cutting, removal, hauling, sitework and new concrete can be reviewed together, with each accepted part of the scope stated in the proposal.

Does 24/7 mean an immediate crew arrival?

No. Phone and email inquiries are open 24/7. Acceptance, arrival time and work hours depend on project review, travel, access, required approvals and crew scheduling.
